Honda ProFirst Certified Collision Repair

Supreme Collision Centre is a Honda ProFirst certified collision repair facility at every one of its locations. Honda ProFirst means Honda Canada has verified that a shop uses the tools, training and repair procedures Honda requires to return your Honda or Acura to its factory safety standards after a collision.

What Honda ProFirst certification actually means

Honda ProFirst is a certification program run by the manufacturer. A shop does not buy it or advertise its way in. Honda audits the facility, confirms it owns the correct factory tooling and welding equipment, checks that technicians hold current training and requires the shop to follow Honda published repair procedures for every job.

For you, the certification answers one question that is hard to judge from the waiting room: does this shop know how to put my specific vehicle back together the way the automaker intended? When the answer is yes, the structural repairs, the welds and the safety systems are restored to the standard Honda set when the car left the factory.

Factory tools and equipment

Honda specifies the frame equipment, welders and measuring systems approved for its vehicles. Certification confirms we run them.

Published repair procedures

Every certified repair follows Honda documented steps, not a shortcut. That is what protects your safety systems.

Trained technicians

Our technicians hold current training. Certification is reviewed, so the standard has to hold over time.

Why the certification matters to you

A modern Honda or Acura is a network of structural zones, airbags, cameras and sensors that are designed to work together in a crash. A repair that looks correct on the surface can still leave a safety system reading the road incorrectly or a structural zone weaker than the factory intended.

Certified repair protects three things you care about after an accident: your safety, the value of your vehicle at resale or trade in and your peace of mind that the car is right. Customers tell us the same thing in different words.

They knew what they were doing and they had the certification to prove it.

The first MSO in Canada to reach Honda ProFirst at every location

As reported by Canadian Underwriter, Supreme Collision Centre was recognized as the first multi-shop operator in Canada to achieve Honda ProFirst certification at every one of its locations. A multi-shop operator, or MSO, is a company that runs more than one repair facility. Reaching the standard at one site is an achievement. Reaching it at all of them, and holding it, is the harder milestone.

It matters because it is consistent. Whether you bring your Honda to our Aurora, Bolton or Thornhill location, the certified standard is the same. Our sister shop, Newmarket Auto Body, serves the Newmarket area under its own brand.

Which vehicles our certifications cover

Honda ProFirst covers your Honda and Acura. We also hold manufacturer certifications across a range of domestic and import brands, so many families can keep more than one vehicle with the same shop.

Honda ProFirst FAQ

What is Honda ProFirst certification?

Honda ProFirst is Honda Canada's collision repair certification. Honda verifies that a shop owns the correct factory tools, employs trained technicians and follows Honda published repair procedures. It signals that the shop can repair your Honda or Acura to the manufacturer's safety standards.

Is Supreme Collision Centre really the first MSO in Canada with Honda ProFirst at every location?

Yes. As reported by Canadian Underwriter, Supreme Collision Centre was recognized as the first multi-shop operator in Canada to achieve Honda ProFirst certification at all of its locations.

Does Honda ProFirst cover Acura vehicles?

Yes. Acura is Honda's luxury division, so ProFirst certified repair applies to Acura vehicles as well as Honda models.

Which Supreme Collision Centre locations are Honda ProFirst certified?

All three Supreme Collision Centre locations are certified: Aurora, Bolton and Thornhill. That is the milestone reported by Canadian Underwriter.

Do I have to use a certified shop if my car is under warranty?

No. In Ontario you choose your own repair shop. A certified shop helps protect your vehicle's repair quality and resale value, but the choice is yours. See our guide to your Ontario collision claim rights for details.
